Overview |
In addition to being one of the world's greatest travel destinations, South Africa is also a fantastic place for playing golf. First-time visitors will want to explore Cape Town and the many other attractions available in the surrounding area. There are the battlefields of Zululand and Big Game in the Kruger National Park. South Africa itself is a vast country, and extends nearly 2000km from the Limpopo River in the north to Cape Agulhas in the south. There are 11 official languages and equally diverse people.

Weather
|
South Africa's location just south of the Tropic of Capricorn makes it a predominantly dry and sunny place to visit. The farther east you go, the more likely it is to be wet. The coast north from the Cape is much drier and hotter. Although South Africa's climate varies considerably across its various regions and environments, temperatures remain comfortable throughout the year. The best time to visit is between May to August, when there is less rain.
