Overview |
South Carolina is the small state that ranks at the top of the list of golf travel destinations. The surrounding states of North Carolina and Georgia are almost as popular. Despite its size, South Carolina is home to several features of the Eastern US region: the Coastal Plain, the Piedmont Plateau, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Featuring more than 330 golf courses, South Carolina is a leading spot for golf and visitors can also experience breathtaking beach walks, water sports and the many historic sights the state has to offer.
